favorite movies
This is an awesome conclusion to the best Sci Fi series ever made ! It answers a lot of the questions that were left unanswered by the short lived tv show... but unfortunately not all of them. You don't need to have seen the tv show to enjoy this movie but if you have never seen Firefly shame on you ! go see it now and then watch this movie to fully enjoy it.
This movie is so bad I'm actually embarassed to say I watched it until the end... But I feel compeled to warn others about it. DO NOT WATCHTHIS.
Just watched this gem of Spanish cinema again. I can honestly say this is the only movie I can remember seeing where I am genuinely scared. Too often, scary movies try too hard to scare you at the expense of all the other elements that make a good movie (acting, story, suspense...). This movie succeeds in creating just a few really scary moments while being a really entertaining and brilliantly acted film. Strongly recommended. Watchthis in a dark room with surround sound...
Sin City
This is the most faithful adaptation of a comic book ever made. It presents 3 of the many stories written by Frank Miller, including "A dame to kill for" which is the best one in my opinion.
If you like the film noir genre and aren't turned off by violence and hot, semi naked women, you should definitely check it out.
