In space no one can hear you scream.
During its return to the earth, commercial spaceship Nostromo intercepts a distress signal from a distant planet. When a three-member team of the crew discovers a chamber containing thousands of eggs on the planet, a creature inside one of the eggs attacks an explorer. The entire crew is unaware of the impending nightmare set to descend upon them when the alien parasite planted inside its unfortunate host is birthed.

My favorite movie of all time. A classic, the classic of space horror, many times imitated, never equalled. Yet, to me it's the best of the franchise, the recipe is as simple as Jaws and it's more efficient as Spielberg's movie. You never get to see the creature till the very ending, the lighting, the music, the acting, everything is done to make look the Nostromo as the place you never want to be in not knowing what goes around.
Hopefully, at home people can hear you scream :)
