I do not agree: if you watch this film while high, best film ever. I read the book afterward and it was even better.
In opposition to the Mr. TarMil, you should watch this movie BEFORE reading the books.

The french trailer is one of best trailer i've ever seen :)
Even though I have no idea there was a book about it, I really enjoyed every single minute of this movie. It's hummour, it's point of view about earth, and universe ande everything else amuze me. Totally reccomended.
