Lost in Translation (2003)
Everyone wants to be found.
The widely successful sophomore film by Sofia Coppola. Set in Tokyo under the bustling city life and lights, the two main characters from different generations build a surprising friendship on the common bond that they don’t have anything to do while they are in Tokyo. The film is a slow, dreamy and at times hilarious look at a relationship and the big city they move unknowingly.

Slow-paced, contemplative and sometimes really funny, Lost in Translation managed to achieve a cult film status thanks to its immersive atmosphere (beautiful scenery, soundtrack by Air) and a simple yet touching story between two great characters. A must see.
It's about love, friendship, growing up, being lost. It's two brilliant actors brought together by one of the best directors of our generation. By far my favourite movie.
By the end of this movie i felt like i was in a cloud.
I consider this an excellent movie to watch alone.
This movie is a real piece of art.
It's also funny how the directors point out the stupidness of Japanese's programs (no offense).
bizarrely beautiful.
