this is what the studios do. They build up a movie so you think it's an instant classic but when you see it it's just...alright. If that. What I don't understand is why do all these people that are from Boston like, Marky Mark, put on that horrible accent. Anyway Christian Bale should have won everything for his role and Melissa Leo was choice as well but Mark Wahlberg needs to stick to his naive roles like boogie nights and I <3 huckabees.
The excerpts I saw weren't convincing but I absolutely loved this brilliant movie, very close to the true story of world boxing champion Micky Ward and his crazy family. The four main actors are all amazing as well as the storytelling. WatchThis!
