The Social Network (2010)
You don't get to 500 million friends without making a few enemies.
On a fall night in 2003, Harvard undergrad and computer programming genius Mark Zuckerberg sits down at his computer and heatedly begins working on a new idea. In a fury of blogging and programming, what begins in his dorm room as a small site among friends soon becomes a global social network and a revolution in communication. A mere six years and 500 million friends later, Mark Zuckerberg is the youngest billionaire in history... but for this entrepreneur, success leads to both personal and legal complications.

A very good Fincher. The story actually happened and very few things are pure imagination (the guy uses Emacs 'til the end, WIN), plus it's our generation, so it totally worked for me. The first scene of the movie is the best introduction to a character I've seen in a long time: Mark fights with his girlfriend in a restaurant and the whole portrait comes to mind immediately. You'll love the guy as much as you love House, in a "mean-is-the-new-cool" kind of way. Beautiful soundtrack too (good job, Trent).
I agree with SooW, but I still feel the need to write a comment.
This movie is extremely well written. It is well played, and the score is amazing. It is, by many standards, a perfect movie. Except we all know there is no such thing.
You should especially watch this if you work in the computers/internet industry. Zuckerberg is a hacker (in the true MIT meaning of the term).
It is so well written that it doesn't take any side. At the end of the movie, I gained a tremendous respect for Zuckerberg, while other people thought "ok so he basically stole Facebook from other people."
So yeah, you should watch it. It is the best movie I've seen this year.
And I totally agree with Alex ! You said everything !
A good movie. I recommend it.
