The life of a band of teenager in a suburb near Paris. But instead of showing what would be the "urban legend" of this kind of poor suburb (violence, rapes...), Abdelatif Kechiche shows us what's the daily life of those guys: not much to do, not much dreams. Still, some of them have fun rehearsing for a play. Among those "players", Lydia, long time friend of Krimo... And Krimo, a bit shy, finds himself in love with this joyful girl.

Ah L'Esquive… Vous souvenez-vous que ce film avait raflé pas mal de "césars"? Ça vient de la banlieue, c'est sponso Télérama, alors personne n'ose dire que c'est de la merde. Problème. Les dialogues sont très "authentiques" : on ne comprend rien! Entre "fils de pute nique sa mère" et "on va les niquer ces enculés" on se perd un peu. Beaucoup de vulgarité pour pas grand chose. Un conseil: faites un voyage en RER, et en rentrant chez vous regardez RAISING VICTOR VARGAS: http://watchth.is/1518
