A good espionnage movie.
It's good, except the character of Lisbeth which far away from the original in my mind. I prefered Noomi Rapace in this role. On the other hand, Daniel Craig is pretty convincing. The story is complete, yet they had to insist on the Nazis, which is clearly secondary in the book. Add a nice soundtrack (no surprise here) and you get a blockbuster.

Perfect, seriously. I can't find a single bad thing about this movie. It's like M83 meets Gaspar Noé. I love this half-dream atmosphere rusted by silence and violence. WatchThis right now, it's not too late.
This movie is funny and full of poetry at the same time, as most of Wes Anderson movies. One of Owen Wilson best role, especially when you know that he actually tried to kill himself just before doing this movie. A feel good movie that is not stupid

Co-produced by mister Cruise, Ghost Protocol is indeed a pretty solid episode, with cool gadgets, an entertaining scenario and a nice cast: Josh Holloway (with a new haircut), Simon Pegg (idiot as always) & the charming Léa Seydoux.

Last Dance tells the story of a woman sentenced to death. She killed and there is no miscarriage of justice. Where this movie could have a great opportunity to advocate for human rights and the occasion to highlight the horror and hypocrisy of the death penalty, the film deals with the notion of forgiveness in a despicable crime. Death penalty becomes secondary. The victims' families are portrayed as the bad guys. I found the message of this film very disturbing, even outrageous towards the victims and moreover the victims of repeat offenders, because that's the risk (sadely uncovered by the director) it brings when rises the notion of forgiveness.

Just watched this gem of Spanish cinema again. I can honestly say this is the only movie I can remember seeing where I am genuinely scared. Too often, scary movies try too hard to scare you at the expense of all the other elements that make a good movie (acting, story, suspense...). This movie succeeds in creating just a few really scary moments while being a really entertaining and brilliantly acted film. Strongly recommended. Watchthis in a dark room with surround sound...
Once again Anne Hathaway play a fake ugly girl(which obviously she isn't as she's smoking HOT), it's slightly funny (you'll have to "appreciate" girl humor...) with good actors and a decent photography.
Girls will love it (because girls are naive and dumb), but for us guys (strong and pragmatic) the romance side is a pushed a bit too far sometimes...
So finally it's a drama/comedy/romance movie like thousand others, but still it's fresh and well realized, so give it a try it might be just what you want.

Astonishingly beautiful photography; astonishingly boring film. My advice? download all those beautiful pictures in a Full-HD wallpaper pack, but skip the movie, unless you want two and a half hours full of off-camera whispers, spirituality and... DINOSAURS, which I'm sure are related somehow to the rest of the movie, but I guess I was too busy yawning to notice.
BTW: pretentious directors, PLEEEEEEEASE stop using Lacrimosa from Mozart's Requiem Mass in D minor in your soundtracks. It stopped being original fifteen years ago. Now, it's a cliche.

Even though I have no idea there was a book about it, I really enjoyed every single minute of this movie. It's hummour, it's point of view about earth, and universe ande everything else amuze me. Totally reccomended.

Bizarre and romantic (but watch out: not in an extremely corny way, as some nowadays films).
It’s true that the movie ends as it is supposed to end (the image poster doesn’t really keep that in secret… therefore, you’re not really smart if you guess the main characters end together), but even so, the way the story develops and how the characters finish that strange holyday, it’s the best thing about this film. The dialogues are clever and funny. I watched it in an awful image quality and even so, I liked it :)

The casting is good and well directed.
They even kinda avoid the trap "and at the end, the US save the world".
Everything stays real: it could have happen with the (A)H1N1 flu and can happen in the future.

I agree that some parts (if not all) of the movie are strange. Going from space to the inside of a cell, to dinosaurs... but I think that each of them tries to approach a theme in its own way.
You should try not to think too hard about some scenes and their meaning, and just enjoy the experience.

A lot of funny moments, and a lot of boring moments. Sarah Silverman only has a small part, sadly.
An original black humor story. This movie shows that it’s not necessary a millionaire cast in an extremely expensive Hollywood production to make something worth the watch.
At the beginning I didn’t know exactly what I was going to find, but as the minutes passed I found myself enjoying a movie with an intelligent and hilarious script.
Needless to say that I prefer the English version ;)

It's just not that great. Robin Williams is very good, but that doesn't make a movie. The first act (before the son dies and therefore before the movie really begins) is way too long, like one third of the movie. It's there to make us understand how much of an asshole the son is but we get it 5 minutes in. It gets painful to watch him being the biggest asshole on Earth for 20 minutes. I liked the ending. It's not bad, it's just not that great. There are other movies out there, great movies, watch them before you watch this one. "It's Saturday and it's on Netflix instant" is not a valid excuse.
Moneyball is for baseball what Any Given Sunday is for football but from the front office point of view.

This movie wouldn't make any sense if the main actor wasn't Jean Dujardin. Nobody else could play such a role. It's an easy success because it makes you cry and laugh at the same time. Generally good, though I had higher expectations.

Everything feels very real in this movie, the actors especially; no one is "Hollywood beautiful." No surreal makeup. They just look like regular people and the performances feel incredibly genuine.

I loved the soundtrack (by Yann Tiersen) because without it, the movie wouldn’t be the same. It makes you feel like you are in France and it really gets you into the story.
I thought the worst superhero movie this year was supposed to be Green Lantern (which I haven't seen yet) but I really don't see how it could be worse than this! Too close to the "so good it's bad" genre without being in it.
I didn't like it. The characters were plain and the story had no arguments at all. Paul Rudd’s character ended annoying me. The couple Witherspoon-Wilson was the typical brainless couple: They meet and 24 hours later they move together as it were a pijama party thing. If the movie had 30 minutes more, they would probably have a baby…

Another take on the disgusting world of politics. Good actors (a lot of them!) means good acting, but it doesn't mean good script. Pretty good cinematography though. Clooney directed and it looks like he knows what he's doing.
