While I love America, there are some truly terrible human beings living here, and I know this is true of all countries, obviously, but it's not the focus of this movie… obviously.
Frank is sick of mean people, rude people, people who act like they're the only ones on Earth… people who shouldn't be alive. People who deserve to die. So Frank takes matters into his own hands and starts killing assholes. He's soon joined by a crazy teen and they kill assholes together. It's not the movie of the year but it's so enjoyable that I know I'm going to revisit it every now and then.
I went to see it without knowing anything about it.
It's literally about salmon fishing in the Yemen. It's super good and I loved it!
Ewan McGregor is funny and Emily Blunt is pretty.
At 8 hours to the Oscar's ceremony, we can say that it will only be fair for Meryl Streep to get one! Embodying Margaret Thatcher from 50 to 80 years old, she has done a incredible work of transfiguration, changing her voice, her physical appearence and appropriating all the Iron Lady's gesture. Every detail is subtly shaped. Though this great performence, the story itself is somehow flabby and the back and forth between present and past are slowing the pace. Biography is a tricky kind of movie, and un exceptional life may appear as not that awesome.

Encounters at the End of the World
At a time when everyone is shown crying on TV, when people have less and less shame and respect for each other, Werner Herzog makes a respectful documentary that will touch your very soul. He asks the right questions, he observes, and through his eyes we discover strange places and people that are part of our world. We ask ourselves questions with him, we stare in awe at the magnificent images, listening to a beautiful soundtrack… What a film! All of his documentaries are on Netflix, you know what I'm doing for the next few nights.
